The Personal Journey of Roland Porras | June 27, 2020

This Sabbath we will be interviewing Rolando Porras, the founder of Choose Life Abundant (a wellness center). Rolando was brought up in a Catholic home in Guatemala. He immigrated to the United States for his education and to pursue a career in business and finance. We will talk with him about how he became a Seventh day Adventist and left the corporate world to become a full time medical missionary in Tennessee.

Bio: Rolando Porras – Director and Founder of Choose Life Abundant. Rolando received his training at Lifeline Wellness Center on Preventative Health Measures as practiced in the Loma Linda Blue Zone. He is also a graduate with special distinctions from the Davinci College of Holistic Medicine. As of 2019, he obtained his latest certification for the educational component in the Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program from Nedley Health Solutions.

Rolando has a 20 year career in Financial Capital Markets, and has worked in several Investment Banks and private firms such as Merrill Lynch, Citi, and BBH&Co. He’s also a graduate of Bentley University for his Business Management Bachelors, Dublin Business School for his Masters in Business Studies. Rolando gives all the credit and glory to God.
